it's been a wonderful 2006 as i embarked on my college life... and time really flies coz half of my college life is gone and the next half is going to be more intense as the big one arrives in 11 months' time: the a levels... sorry if i repeated some stuff in previous posts coz i dun really remember what i put on my previous posts...

at the end of 2006, senior batch 走了, 变成我们 senior, a bit weird... from next year, a new junior batch would be arriving... senior class has been quite nice to us, playing cards and chatting with us... remembering 11 months ago during orientation when everyone was rather strange towards each other... now it has been a year and i suppose 已经培养了一些感情... i wonder what kind of juniors do we get for next year???

cca has been rather interesting this year, with the mid-year concert and gigs and school performances and chalet and outing... inspirations vi was really memorable, with a full orchestra and many guest players joining in... it was an unforgettable experience... the chalet and outing were very fun and i got to know more about my string mates...

in academics, i think i did rather ok for this year, even though it wasn't really fantastic... at least my results are quite presentable (bccd)... trying my luck on h3 pharmaceutical chemistry next year, see whether how long i can last before dropping the subject... lol... of course, i hope i can hold on to the subject till the end... been considering whether to take up medicine / pharmacy in uni... well, it's still a long way to go coz still got ns 要熬...

been listening to a larger range of chinese songs, although it's only a few more singers... now got listen to jay chou, fan wei qi and many others who produce good music... 绝对 superstar 2 started this year and boy, the contestants are rather suck, except for a few... daren looks well and sings well, diya got attitude and got music... i think i'm going to support the both of them if their performances live up to my expectations... lol... i think they very difficult to get my 60 cents... i already spent $1.20 on diya and i think i shall see how things go as the competition progresses...

my tv time has been pushed to an earlier slot... now survivor and amazing race not very advertised by channel 5 and latest season of amazing race not shown on channel 5... however, i've been watching those kind of talk shows by people like oprah (it stopped showing on channel 5 since dunno when), ellen, tyra... looks like my taste for tv programmes has changed a bit...

of course, i'm not going to miss the countdown shows... and not everyone is free on that day, so i suppose i should be spending time at home watching the live telecast of the countdown at vivocity this year... always looking forward to the spectacular fireworks display... hope it doesn't disappoint me this year... still got the marina bay countdown, but i don't wish to go there and become sardines (flattened)...
